CCØ, A NEW PROJECT
OF CREATIVE EXPLORATIONS
As communication specialists and advertisers,
we play a major role in shaping and spreading
messages, codes, and representations within
the public sphere. At Magnetism and Redot,
we fully embrace this responsibility:
as storytellers and image-makers, we are
both witnesses and artisans — reflecting
society as much as we help shape it.
We intend to fully embrace our role: not only
by continuously producing new content, but
by questioning and transforming what already
exists to better understand the impact
of creation on our society.
From this conviction was born CCØ, a free
and open field for artistic and creative
experimentation. Its founding principle is
to start from public domain archives — works
free of rights — to give new life to our
shared collective memory.
Each year, the creatives of Magnetism and Redot
will reinterpret them, demonstrating that
uncompromising creativity never begins
with a blank page, but takes root in
heritage, references, and their reinvention.
ONE FORMAT, ONE ARTIST, ONE THEME
This first edition of CCØ will take the shape
of a one-night exhibition — open for just
four hours before closing its doors until
the next edition. The radical nature of the
concept calls for an equally radical format.
For each edition, a guest artist co-develops
the theme with Magnetism and Redot.
